80s movie star with string of hit films unrecognizable as she’s spotted in LA
A FAMOUS 80s actress has been spotted out and about enjoying walking her dog in LA – and she looks unrecognisable from her movie heyday.
The leading lady, 64, was no one-hit wonder, with major roles in So I Married an Axe Murderer, The Vanishing, and many more prominent projects.
But her true breakthrough came when she played the role of Sylvia Bennington in the comedy film Three Men and a Baby.
Yes, it’s none other than Nancy Travis.
Fans adored her instantly, and many viewers even thought her English accent as Sylvia was so good, she must actually be British.
Nancy isn’t spotted out and about much nowadays, but this week she sported a casual outfit for a brisk dog walk in the November sun.

The actress donned a graphic navy baseball cap to shield her eyes from the rays, as she walked down the street in her trainers with her furry friend.
A gray striped sweater was tied around her waist, revealing a plain sleeveless muted green top underneath.
A smart watch clung to Nancy’s wrist as well, tracking the steps she took on the outing.
She finished off the look with a messy bun and black baggy jeans frayed at the hem.
One of Nancy’s most recent major roles was in the hit TV show Last Man Standing, that premiered in 2011.
The sitcom, which aired on ABC stateside, saw Nancy play the role of Vanessa Baxter, wife of Mike Baxter (Tim Allen), up until 2017 before the program was cancelled.
Six seasons consisting of 130 individual episode aired over that period, and fans were upset to see the show come to a close.
Consequentially, rival network Fox revived the program only a year later, and it continued to film until its second and final conclusion in 2021.
Nancy has also starred in the Hilary Swank led film Ordinary Angels.
The touching two-hour long drama was released last year, and scored an impressive 84% on Rotten Tomatoes.
It follows the life of a struggling hairdresser who finds a renewed sense of purpose after meeting a widowed father with struggles of his own.
Together, with the help of their local community, the pair rally together to do all they can to help the widowed father look after his two daughters.
His youngest is really ill and waiting to receive a liver transplant.
Nancy has also had features in NCIS and Shifting Gears over the last year.
She joined season 23 of NCIS as Navy Vice Admiral Harriet Parker, the sister of Special Agent Alden Parker, played by Gary Cole.
On Shifting Gears, she reunited with her Last Man Standing co-star Tim Allen, playing a spirited widow named Charlotte.
