Global icon Priyanka Chopra recently announced the release date of her upcoming project, Tiger. The actress shared the poster of the film featuring a tigress and a cub on her Instagram handle. According to the post, Priyanka has lent her voice to narrate the story of a tigress named Amba, the lead character of this wildlife documentary. Her post revealed that Tiger is “a story that captures the wild and brings out everything that happens within it.”

She wrote, “‘Tiger’… a story that captures the wild and brings out everything that happens within it – tales of love, conflict, hunger, survival and so much more. In the bustling jungles of India, where creatures big and small, timid and majestic roam, there’s Amba – a tiger with a timeless legacy. She cares for her cubs with so much love that the beautiful bond between mother and child shines through so magnificently.”

The documentary was shot over a time-span of more than 8 years. Sharing her experience about the film, Priyanka wrote, “I had so much fun lending my voice to this incredible story and exploring the jungles through this film. I can’t wait for y’all to enjoy the jungle with us!”

The film is set to release on April 22, which is celebrated as World Earth Day. Viewers will be able to watch this documentary on streaming platform Disney+ Hotstar.

Furthermore, she is currently shooting for her upcoming Hollywood project, Heads of State. The action film is directed by Russian director Ilya Naishuller. It also stars John Cena and Idris Elba in prominent roles.
