I’m a fan of feel-good movies that instantly lift our spirits and lighten the mood. There are a few Bollywood films like Alia Bhatt’s ‘Dear Zindagi’ and Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Jab We Met’ that have touched my heart and taught me important life lessons. As we approach the weekend, here are six feel-good films that are instant mood boosters:

Kareena Kapoor Khan and Shahid Kapoor’s 2007 film ‘Jab We Met’, directed by Imtiaz Ali, will always be special to me, as it taught me a lot about unconditional love. The romantic comedy also emphasized on self-love with Kareena’s character ‘Geet’ and her iconic ‘main apni favorite hoon’ dialogue.

Irrfan Khan and Parvathy Thirovothu’s 2017 romantic drama film ‘Qarib Qarib Singlle’, directed by Tanuja Chandra, is about a 35-year-old widow who enrolls herself on a dating app and goes on to meet a happy-go-lucky person.

The 2009 comedy drama widely resonates with the students as it showcases the mental pressure they face. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film presents the lives of engineering students with the characters of Raju and Farhan meeting Rancho, who has an interesting perspective!
