The debut single ‘Whistle Podu’ from Thalapathy Vijay’s anticipated film ‘GOAT: Greatest Of All Time’ premiered on April 14. Along with Thalapathy, the music video features Prabhudeva and Prashanth. The song is sung by Vijay and the lyrics are written by Madhan Karky. The film is set to release in theatres on September 5.
The production company, AGS Production shared the song on their official X site and wrote, “Here we go!!! #WhistlePodu #GoatFirstSingle. A @actorvijaySir vocal. A @thisisysr party. A @vp_offl Hero. A #Rajusundharam choreo. Lyrics by @madhankarky (sic).”

Produced by AGS Entertainment, ‘GOAT’ is produced on a massive budget by AGS Entertainment by Kalpathi S Aghoram, Kalpathi S Ganesh and Kalpathi S Suresh. The film has music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography by Siddhartha Nuni and editing by Venkat Raajen.
Also, reports suggest that Vijay will play two roles – as a hero and a villain – in the film. ‘GOAT’ is tipped to be a period science fiction film. The ensemble cast including Prashanth, Prabhudheva, Sneha, Ajmal Ameer, Vaibhav, Laila, Mohan, Aravind Akash and Ajay Raj will take the sides of the hero and villain.
