Actor Parambrata Chattopadhyay is currently shooting in Gujarat for Vipul Mehta’s upcoming film Gulabi, alongside actress Huma Qureshi. Described as a social comedy, Parambrata was drawn to the script immediately upon reading it, expressing excitement for exploring a different type of Hindi film. The actor will also be seen speaking in Gujarati.

Parambrata and Huma previously worked together in the web series Mithya. Both share a friendly bond off-screen. The details of Gulabi are yet to be released. Beyond acting, Parambrata is all set to explore direction in Hindi films as well.

Parambrata is also working on his upcoming Bengali directorial film with Aparna Sen and Anjan Dutt, titled after Hemanta Mukhopadhyay’s iconic song Ei Raat Tomar Amar. Notably, Parambrata will also act in the film. His character draws inspiration from Mukhopadhyay but is not a biopic. Instead, it intricately captures a series of events unfolding over one night.
