The video shows clips of a dying Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) with a voiceover from Deadpool. “Look, eventually, you’re gonna hang up the claws, and it’s gonna make a lot of people very sad. But one day, your old pal Wade’s gonna ask you to get back in the saddle again, and when he does, say yes.”
We then see Wolverine fighting fit, back to his former glory as he growls at the screen. “New trailer tomorrow”, the text reads, in the duo’s signature red and yellow.
Reynolds simply captioned the post: “Tomorrow is always just a day away. #DeadpoolAndWolverine”, but that was enough to stir up excitement.
The 41-second video has already amassed over eight thousand reposts and 37 thousand likes as fans flocked to share their anticipation, commenting in their hundreds.
