Imran Khan is ready to make his long-awaited comeback to acting. The actor has been away from the arc lights for almost nine years. Now, there is a new development amidst all the speculation around his upcoming projects.

As per reports on a leading news portal, Imran Khan will make his comeback in a comedy titled Happy Patel. The project will be backed by Aamir Khan’s production house. The film will also mark comedian Vir Das’ directorial debut.

Additionally, Mona Singh is attached to star alongside Imran Khan. Reports also mention that filming for Happy Patel has already commenced in Goa.

Earlier, Imran Khan was set to make his comeback with a spy thriller web series. However, the project has reportedly been delayed. The actor was last seen in Katti Batti. The film didn’t do well at the box office.
