I can’t wait to hear this one.
l just announced that his new song “Ain’t No Love in Oklahoma” will be featured in the forthcoming Twisters movie, which he wrote specifically for the feature film.
The movie is a follow-up to the 1996 blockbuster Twister, and features Daisy Edgar-Jones starring as Kate Cooper, and Glenn Powell starring as Tyler Owens.
Luke shared the news on Instagram, saying that the song will also be his next single at country radio, and is set for release next Thursday, May 16th at 8AM:
“Pumped to let y’all know my next single on country radio will be ‘Ain’t No Love in Oklahoma’ – a song written for and featured in the ‘Twisters’ movie. The song and music video will be out May 16 at 8 AM ET.”
Twisters is directed by Lee Isaac Chung, and is produced by Oscar nominee Frank Marshall (Jurassic and Indiana Jones franchises) and by Patrick Crowley (Jurassic and Bourne franchises). The film is due out in theaters on July 19th.
