‘The Book of Clarence’ Review: LaKeith Stanfield Shines in Wildly Entertaining Epic
Jeymes Samuel follows up his beloved ‘The Harder They Fall’ with a comedic take on the story of Jesus Christ.

The further Clarence gets into his scheme, the more he puts himself and those he loves at risk, and along the way, he begins to have his own spiritual awakening. The Book of Clarence also stars Omar Sy (Lupin), Anna Diop (Titans), RJ Cyler (Me and Earl and the Dying Girl), David Oyelowo (Selma), Micheal Ward (Top Boy), Academy Award nominee Alfre Woodard (12 Years a Slave), Teyana Taylor (A Thousand and One), Academy Award nominee Marianne Jean-Baptiste (Secrets & Lies), Caleb McLaughlin (Stranger Things), Eric Kofi-Abrefa (BMF), James McAvoy (Split), and Academy Award nominee Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness).

A fantastic, foul-mouthed cast carries Thea Sharrock’s star-studded true story.
Academy Award winner Olivia Colman and Academy Award nominee Jessie Buckley may have both starred in Maggie Gyllenhaal‘s The Lost Daughter, but because they were playing the same character, they never actually shared the screen. In the period dramedy Wicked Little Letters, the two actresses will finally share the screen together. As more and more women in town begin to receive letters as well, Edith and her family suspect that their neighbor Rose Gooding (Buckley) is behind the letters, thanks to her notorious knack for cursing. As the investigation continues, the women of Littlehampton suspect that Rose may have been framed and that someone else is behind the letters. Thea Sharrock (Me Before You) directs the movie, which also stars Anjana Vasan (We Are Lady Parts), Joanna Scanlan (Getting On), Gemma Jones (Harry Potter), Malachi Kirby (Roots), Lolly Adefope (Saltburn), Eileen Atkins (Gosford Park), Timothy Spall (Harry Potter).
