Hrithik Roshan himself took to social media to express his appreciation for the song, calling it a “superhit” and praising the dancing. He wrote, “What a song! What a dancing! Superhit”. Pashmina shared the track on her Instagram, expressing her delight and highlighting its release date – June 21st, 2024.
During the song launch event in Mumbai, Pashmina spoke about the invaluable support and advice she’s received from her family, particularly Hrithik. She acknowledged the pressure to live up to their legacy but emphasized her determination to carve her own path in the industry.
“The pride, the luck, their support and advice is what I’ve got,” Pashmina said, quoted by PTI. “But the pressure is to live up to their advice, to their (body of) work and make a place for myself in the industry and in the hearts of the audience.”
Hrithik’s advice to Pashmina focused on authenticity. “Bring authenticity to what you do, give your hundred percent as an actor, and if you do these two things, you are set,” Pashmina stated. “This is the main advice that he keeps giving and I hope I’ve lived up to his expectations.”
This new rendition of ‘Ishq Vishk Pyaar Vyaar’ offers a modern twist on the beloved classic from the 2003 film. Rochak Kohli composed the music, with lyrics penned by Gurpreet Saini. The vocals are a delightful combination of Sonu Nigam and Nikhita Gandhi, alongside the popular rapper Mellow D.
Paying homage to the original choreographer Vijay Ganguly has retained the signature hook step conceptualized by Ahmed Khan for the 2003 version. While Sonu Nigam couldn’t attend the launch due to his ongoing tour, he sent a special message expressing his love and support for the team. In his absence, Rochak Kohli surprised everyone with a live performance of the song along with Nikhita Gandhi and Mellow D, much to the delight of the audience.
Ishq Vishk Rebound stars Rohit Saraf, Jibraan Khan, Pashmina Roshan and Naila Grrewal. It will hit the theaters on June 21, 2024.
