Ajay Devgn is currently one of the most important actors. He has been shooting back-to-back. Recently, he completed the shoot of Singham Again in Kashmir and now there is fresh news that he is in talks with Mission Mangal director Jagan Shakti for next. Well, nothing much has been shared but this has surely increased the excitement level. Pinkvilla in its exclusive report has mentioned that Ajay Devgn has liked the idea.

According to sources, Jagan Shakti and Ajay Devgn have met multiple times over the last few months to discuss a probable collaboration. “Ajay is excited by the idea pitched to him by Jagan Shakti and is looking forward to the collaboration. The genre and other details are not known yet, but, it’s a world that has excited Ajay. They are discussing and figuring out the logistics at the moment,” revealed a source close to the development.

“If everything goes as planned, Ajay will start shooting for the Jagan Shakti directorial by early 2025,” the source added. Ajay Devgn has many films lined up in his kitty including De De Pyaar De 2, Raid 2 and Son of Sardar 2.

Pinkvilla earlier mentioned, “Ajay will wrap up shooting for Singham Again and Raid 2 by the end of May and both films are scheduled to be released in the second half of 2024. He will be off to London in June to commence work on De De Pyaar De 2 followed by Son of Sardar 2.” The report also mentions that Ajay’s stint in London begins with a 15-day schedule of De De Pyaar De 2, which will be directed by Anushul Sharma.

“On calling it a wrap on the brief schedule of De De Pyaar De 2 in London, Ajay kicks off the sequel to his 2012 hit comedy, Son of Sardar. It’s going to be back-to-back shoot for Ajay,” the source added.

On March 13, T Series official has shared the news about the release date of the film. Taking to their Instagram handle, Luv Films and T Series official wrote, “De De Pyaar De 2 will release on 1st May 2025. The film is directed by @anshul3112, produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Luv Ranjan & @gargankur82 and written by @tarun.j.85 & Luv Ranjan.”

De De Pyaar De also starred Tabu in the lead role. It revolves around the star of a 50-year-old Ashish (played by Ajay), a divorcee who falls for 26-year-old Ayesha (played by Rakul). In the film, Tabu plays Ajay’s ex-wife. The story sheds light on the backlash Ajay faces for falling in love with a girl the age of his kids, and the complexities that come with it.
