Jitendra Kumar, Raghubir Yadav and Neena Gupta starrer web series Panchayat has dropped its third season on Prime Video. Released on May 28 at midnight IST, the web series is a favourite amongst the Indian audience. The story of Panchayat is set in the village of Phulera in Uttar Pradesh. Abhishek Tripathi (played by Jitendra), is an engineering graduate who gets a job as a Panchayat Secretary in Phulera. What follows next is a chain of comical events that will make you ROFL. The backdrop of rural India adds a touch of authenticity to the characters in the popular web series.

2. Swatantrya Veer Savarkar

Acclaimed actor Randeep Hooda’s film Swatantrya Veer Savarkar is a biopic based on the life and struggles of Indian freedom fighter Vinayak Damodar Savarkar. The film also marks Randeep’s directorial debut and is one of the latest OTT movies to watch this week.

3. Illegal

Neha Sharma’s popular courtroom drama is back with its third season and is touted to be even more intense. As the actress reprises her role of advocate Niharika Singh, the audience will get to see her face some new challenges as she navigates the struggles of the legal system and flawed high-end law firms. Illegal also stars Piyush Mishra, Akshay Oberoi, Satyadeep Mishra, and Neil Bhoopalam.

5. Varshangalkku Shesham

Vineeth Srinivasan’s Malayalam comedy-drama Varshangalkku Shesham was released alongside Fahadh Faasil’s Aavesham. Despite the box office clash, the film emerged as a super hit and amassed Rs 80 crores gross in its lifetime. The story of the film is based on the South Indian film industry.
