Director Abhishek Kapoor did quite a job in sparking a discourse surrounding trans people and the complexities they face when it comes to romantic relationships and family, especially in a country and society that’s still operating heavily under patriarchal norms. And, Vaani Kapoor and Ayushmann Khurrana only aided in successfully carrying the storyline forward.
