Kangana Ranaut, who successfully contested her first Lok Sabha election in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, has once again stirred conversations with her bold statements, this time reaffirming her belief in the immense respect she commands in the industry.

In a recent appearance on The Himachali Podcast, Kangana reiterated that her motivation for joining politics was driven by broader aspirations rather than bitterness. She clarified, “Even when I said that after Amitabh Bachchan, if somebody gets immense respect, it is me, I still stand by that.”

In addition to her political career, Kangana is set to portray former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in her upcoming film ‘Emergency,’ which also marks her debut as a solo director.
