Despicable Me 4 premiere

Steve Carell, Kristen Wiig, Will Ferrell, Joey King, Chloe Fineman and Miranda Cosgrove walked the red carpet at the New York premiere of the latest Despicable Me movie on Sunday.

Inside Out 2 premiere

Stars of the voice cast, including Amy Poehler, Maya Hawke, Ayo Edebiri, Kensington Tallman, Liza Lapira, Tony Hale and Lewis Black, celebrated the Pixar sequel in Los Angeles on Monday.

A Family Affair premiere

Nicole Kidman, Zac Efron and Joey King debuted their new Netflix rom-com in Los Angeles on Thursday, alongside director Richard Lagravenese and co-stars Liza Koshy and Sherry Cola.

Peabody Awards

Mel Brooks, Quinta Brunson and Star Trek were recognized with special honors at the Peabody Awards on Sunday, held for the first time in Los Angeles. Kumail Nanjiani hosted the event. Presenters included Billy Crystal, Donald Glover, J.J. Abrams, Regina King, Rose Byrne, Hasan Minhaj and Shailene Woodley.

Tribeca Festival

The annual New York festival, running this year from June 5 to 16, featured premieres for Outstanding: A Comedy Revolution, Brats, ¡Casa Bonita Mi Amor!, Stevie Van Zandt: Disciple, The Freshly Cut Grass, Mastermind: To Think Like A Killer, Presumed Innocent, Daddio, Federer: Twelve Final Days, State of Silence, Firebrand, My Lady Jane, In The Arena: Serena Williams and Between the Temples.

Critics Choice Celebration of LGBTQ+ Cinema & Television

Abe Sylvia, Carl Clemons-Hopkins, Chris Perfetti, Fernando Carsa, George Takei, Henry R. Muñoz III, Kristen Kish, Luke Gilford, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Nathan Lane, Nava Mau, Oliver Hermanus, Shakina, and the teams behind Fellow Travelers, RuPaul’s Drag Race and We’re Here were all honored at the Critics Choice event in Los Angeles on June 7, hosted by Sherry Cola.

Tribeca Festival’s AT&T Presents: Untold Stories event

A star-studded panel of judges — including Cynthia Erivo, Daveed Diggs, Yvette Nicole Brown and Tanya Saracho — awarded $1 million to an emerging filmmaker at Tribeca Festival’s AT&T Presents: Untold Stories event on June 7.

Daytime Emmys

LA Pride in the Park

Capital Pride

Grand Marshals Billy Porter and Keke Palmer led Washington, D.C.’s Capital Pride celebration over the weekend, featuring a parade and a concert with the theme “Totally Radical,” paying homage to the radical spirit that defined the activism and progress of the 1980s and ‘90s.

Literacy Partners Evening of Readings and Gala Dinner
