Shadowy first trailer for Robert Eggers’ vampire horror

The Lighthouse’s Robert Eggers is back and this time he’s taking on the vampire genre with Nosferatu, which will be released early next year.

The official synopsis of the movie describes it as ‘a gothic tale of obsession between a haunted young woman and the terrifying vampire infatuated with her, causing untold horror in its wake’.

Written for the screen and directed by Robert Eggers, the movie features a star-studded cast including Bill Skarsgård (Boy Kills World), Nicholas Hoult (Renfield), Lily-Rose Depp (Voyagers), Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Kick-Ass), Emma Corrin (A Murder at the End of the World), Ralph Ineson (The First Omen), Simon McBurney (Carnival Row) and Willem Dafoe (The Lighthouse).
