A Quiet Place: Day One – 12th August, BookMyShow Stream

Viewers are in to relive the terrifying early hours of the alien invasion that drastically altered human existence on Earth in A Quiet Place: Day One. The film centers on Samira (Lupita Nyong’o), a terminally ill woman who must traverse this abrupt and horrifying new reality with the help of a gang of survivors, including the resourceful Eric (Joseph Quinn). The film is set in the chaotic streets of New York City.

Bad Monkey – 14th August, AppleTV+

In this comedy-drama, Vince Vaughn plays Andrew Yancy, a former detective with the Miami Police Department who was transferred to the Florida Keys to work as a restaurant health inspector. He accidentally comes upon an odd case that starts with a severed human arm that is drawn in by gullible tourists.

Shekhar Home – 14th August, Jio Cinema

Shekhar Home, an engrossing detective drama series, stars Kay Kay Menon as a cunning investigator who draws inspiration from the illustrious Sherlock Holmes. The story, which takes place in the sleepy Bengali town of Lonpur in the early 1990s, follows Shekhar as he unravels a network of enigmas, each more puzzling than the previous.

This mini-series follows these young officers as they fulfill their aim of becoming Indian soldiers by overcoming obstacles related to class, sect, and other factors as well as interpersonal conflicts.
