India will mark its 72nd Independence Day today on August 15.
To mark the day, two Bollywood movies will see a worldwide release. Instead of Thursday, the films will release on Wednesday this week.
Indian expats in the UAE can head to the cinema halls to watch the films today morning as first show would begin at 10am. 
Akshay Kumar’s Gold and John Abraham’s Satyameva Jayate will be on the screens.

Directed by Reema Kagti, Gold tells the story of the first Indian Olympic gold after the country’s freedom from British Empire. It stars Akshay Kumar and Mouni Roy in the lead and has Kunal Kapoor, Amit Sadh in other roles.
The film will clash with John Abraham’s cop drama, infused with power-packed action and punch dialogues. Veteran Manoj Bajpayee will be seen alongside John and debutante actress Aisha Sharma.
