Wes Ball’s Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes has a few casualties, leaving fans wondering if the wise Raka seen in trailers makes it out alive.

Ball has previously stated that Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes was just the first film in a planned trilogy, which bodes well for potentially two more sequels. Despite the critical and box office success of the movie, a sequel hasn’t been officially announced. Whether the announcement has been delayed due to Ball’s loaded schedule remains unclear, but it appears that Ball is choosing to focus on both The Legend of Zelda and Ruiner before entering back into the world of Planet of the Apes.
