Movie Songs

A definitive guide to every song in the movie

August 23, 20244 Mins Read

Netflix has come out with Incoming, the latest addition to the streaming platform’s comedy slate, as well as an addition to the many high-school comedies that are not afraid to get bold. The movie plays on similar tropes as highly successful movies like Superbad, while also crafting out a space of its own.

Throughout the raunchy, and often over-the-top, sequences of the movie, there is an excellent soundtrack full of great songs, which are enough to keep fans hooked through the one and half hour runtime. The original score by Jonathan Sadoff is also worth praising, but the songs used in Incoming are the real hook.

As the movie begins streaming today, let us explore the songs used in Incoming.

What is Incoming all about?

Much like many other high school-based R-rated comedies, Incoming follows a group of nerdy, undergrown students who try to make the best of the first party of the year. This includes various goals for the four protagonists, all of them geared toward making them cool in the eyes of their peers.

The movie is directed by Dave Chernin and John Chernin and stars an ensemble cast, which includes Mason Thames, Raphael Alejandro, Bobby Cannavale, Bardia Seiri, Ramon Reed, Kaitlin Olson, Isabella Ferreira, Thomas Barbusca, and Ali Gallo, among many others.

The synopsis of the movie reads:

“Four freshmen in high school get ready for their first school party, they’re preparing themselves for something unfamiliar and terrifying.”

Incoming is now available for streaming on Netflix.
