Renowned singer Vijay Prakash has recorded a duet, Kannanotake Kannagi Bandalu, written by lyricist Manohar S. Doddamani for the upcoming Kannada movie Bhagiratha.
The playback singer was last seen performing at the live music concert presented by Academy Award-winning composer AR Rahman at Yuva Dasara, part of Mysuru Dasara festivities in Mysuru. Vijay Prakash sang few lines of the popular number from the Tamil hit film Roja in Kannada that captivated the Mysuru audience on the occasion.
The film is directed by Ram Janardhan and produced under the banner of Sai Ramesh Productions by K. Ramesh, B. Bhairappa Mysore, and Chetan S. Ramesh. The song, composed by Pradeep S. Verma, is set to be released soon, generating excitement among fans.
Bhaghiratha shoot wrapped up
Filming for Bhagiratha has been completed, with scenes shot across picturesque locations such as Mysuru, Madikeri, Sakaleshpura, and Mangaluru.
Speaking about the film, director Ram Janardhan shared that the songs and trailer will be released shortly, with the movie itself slated for a November release.
Action packed film
The action-packed film features four distinct action sequences choreographed by Thriller Manju. Other key contributors include Akul for choreography, Suri Chittoor for cinematography, Ravichandran for editing, and Mohan Rasu as co-director.
The ensemble cast includes Jayaprakash, Chandana Raghavendra, Dhina Upada, Rupa, Nisarga Annappa, Shashidhar, Sudha Belawadi, Shivraj KR Pete, Ravikale, Bala Rajwadi, Nayana, and Surabhi Ravi. Bhagiratha promises to offer a compelling storyline combined with stunning visuals and music.
