Coolie is an upcoming Rajinikanth starrer action thriller, which is produced by Sun Pictures and written, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Recently Lokesh Kanagaraj updated that Superstar Rajinikanth is all set to resume Coolie shooting from October 16. Latest we hear, Bollywood star actor Aamir Khan who was buzzed to be making a cameo appearance in Coolie, is now all set to film his portions too. 

Chennai is currently under red alert in lieu of the heavy rains and thunderstorms on October 15 (Tuesday) and October 16 (Wednesday). While it remains unclear if Coolie shooting is happening during Chennai rains, it is now confirmed that Coolie will mark Rajinikanth, Aamir Khan’s on screen reunion, 30 years since the Hindi film Aatank Hi Aatank (1995).
