Amid much anticipation, Devara: Part 1 was released in September across the country in multiple languages. The film was one of the most awaited movies of the year due to many factors like Jr NTR returning to theatres, Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan making their Telugu debut, among many others. The film released to much love among fans who were eagerly waiting to see the actor in his usual massy avatar. Recently considering all the appreciation that came his way, the Telugu superstar decided pen a heartfelt note of gratitude towards them.

Taking to the social media platform X, Jr NTR posted two notes in Telugu and English respectively for his fans across the country wherein he wrote, “My heart is filled with immense gratitude for the overwhelming response to “Devara Part 1”. This film holds a special place in my heart and seeing the outpouring of love from around the world makes it even more special.” He continued, “First and foremost I want to thank my fellow cast members; Saif Sir, Janhvi, Prakash Raj Garu, Srikanth Garu and all the other actors for breathing life into their characters so ably and giving our story wings.”

“A huge thanks to my captain, Koratala Siva for his vision of conceiving this world and this tale. His leadership guided us through every step of making this magnificent vision a reality. Anirudh, what can I say? The world is talking about what he has done for the movie. Rathnavelu Sir made each frame stunning. Sabu Sir for the great production design, Yugandhar Garu for the VFX and Sreekar Prasad Garu for the edit and all the technicians for shaping the product in the best possible way!”, he added. Devara: Part 1 features Jr NTR in a double role as father and son as warriors who follow the right path and protect their village and its people from any trouble. The film features Saif Ali Khan as the antagonist along with Janhvi Kapoor as Devara’s son Vara’s love interest. The film released in theatres on September 27 and the release date of the second part is yet to be unveiled.
