The Creep films have both been very highly praised. Directed by Patrick Brice, who also co-starred with Duplass in the film, Creep is a found footage horror movie that’s been regarded by many fans as among the best of its type. It features Brice playing a videographer who’s recording the antics of a bizarre client (Duplass) when things take a dark turn. The film has a strong 91 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes due to its critical acclaim.

Critics were even happier with the sequel, Creep 2. In the sequel, Duplass returns to reprise his role as a videographer-hunting serial killer while Brice was also back in the director’s chair. The movie holds a perfect score of 100 percent on Rotten Tomatoes, a true rarity for a horror sequel. Given the continued acclaim, it was expected that there may be additional installments of the franchise to follow.
