Greenfield might be a long way from India, but that won’t stop the Greenfield Garden Cinemas from taking moviegoers on a visual trip to Bollywood over the next several months.
Isaac Mass, owner of the Garden Cinemas, has partnered with journalist and curator Vidhi Salla to bring four Bollywood films to the big screen in Franklin County. The first film, “PK,” was screened on Monday, Oct. 14.
“We have a commitment to diverse faces and voices on the screen,” Mass said in an email interview with The Republican. “Bringing in this series allows our patrons to see new worlds and cultures and learn that the human condition and challenges are the same the world over.”
