What’s New on Paramount+ in November 2024

Paramount+ is still slower than most of its competition when it comes to pumping out the quality originals (just being honest, sorry), but November has two of the most exciting new series to come to the streamer all year. Leading the way is Landman (Nov. 17), the latest from the current King Midas of the TV industry, Taylor Sheridan. Though not officially connected to Sheridan’s massive hit Yellowstone and its spin-offs, it shares some DNA, as it follows the oil business in West Texas, from the roughnecks who suck it out of the ground to the oil tycoon billionaires who profit off of it. The cast is boomin’ too, with Billy Bob Thornton, Demi Moore, and Jon Hamm headlining.

Also debuting this month on Paramount+ with Showtime is The Agency, an adaptation of the French thriller The Bureau (Les Bureau des Légendes), which is one of the best espionage TV shows ever made. Paramount+’s version moves the action to England, where a covert CIA agent (Michael Fassbender) is asked to abandon his undercover post and work at London Station, where he reconnects with a past flame who makes things very complicated. Jeffrey Wright, Jodie Turner-Smith, and Richard Gere also star.
