Superstar Rajinikanth’s latest film Vettaiyan made quite the buzz upon its theatrical release. The action-thriller also features Amitabh Bachchan and Fahad Faasil in key roles. Now, the film is gearing up for its OTT release.

As per reports, Vettaiyan is eyeing an OTT release on November 7 after Diwali festivities. The film is expected to arrive on Amazon Prime Video which has the streaming rights for the film.

Directed by Jai Bhim fame TJ Gnanavel, Vettaiyan revolves around a senior police officer known for his encounter skills. Amitabh Bachchan plays the role of a retired judge while Fahadh Faasil’s character gets entangled in Vettaiyan’s journey.

Vettaiyan continues to run in theatres. So far, the makers and the streaming platform have not confirmed the OTT release date. It remains to be seen how audiences respond to the film on OTT.
