In the Lost Lands, a new fantasy action movie from Game of Thrones creator George R.R. Martin, has confirmed a UK release date.

After dropping a first trailer last month, the film is expected to hit cinemas in the UK on March 14 — one week after its US release.

Based on the short story of the same name by the author, the movie stars Milla Jovovich as sorceress Gray Alys and Dave Bautista as Gray’s guide Boyce.

“A Queen sends the powerful and feared sorceress Gray Alys to the ghostly wilderness of the Lost Lands in search of a magical power, where the sorceress and her guide, the drifter Boyce, must outwit and outfight man and demon,” reads the synopsis.

The trailer sees Alys approaching Boyce as she seeks for a guide to lead her to “a great treasure, an immense power”.

Both loners, the two will have to join forces and work together if they want to survive their perilous journey.

In the Lost Lands will be released in US cinemas on March 7. In the UK, the movie will be released on March 14.

Game of Thrones seasons 1-8 are available on DVD and Blu-ray. House of the Dragon airs on HBO and Max in the US, and on Sky Atlantic and NOW in the UK.
