Get ready to glom onto your TV this month and never part ways. Netflix has a bevy of exciting new titles and familiar favorites hitting the platform in March.
In addition to faves like 50 First Dates, Do the Right Thing, Ma, Wedding Crashers, Friday, and its sequel, Next Friday, there are plenty of new films and series premiering this month to get hyped for. The highly-anticipated sci-fi road comedy The Electric State, featuring the all-star cast of Millie Bobby Brown, Chris Pratt, and Oscar winner Ke Huy Quan, finally touches down. It’s joined by The Life List, a new romantic anchored by Descendants star Sofia Carson, and The Outrun, the Saoirse Ronan festival favorite that’s making its streaming premiere on the platform.
As for series, Netflix will debut The Residence, the new Shondaland series starring Uzo Aduba as a spiffily dressed detective called in to solve a mysterious murder at the White House. On the reality side, the streamer unveils two new competition series – Million Dollar Secret and Temptation Island, a revival of the beloved dating show that premiered on Fox in 2001. Finally, With Love, Meghan takes viewers inside the Duchess of Sussex’s charmed life.

The offering is just as bountiful and diverse on the foreign side, with new shows and series from Japan to Argentina to Indonesia landing this month. There’s Potato Lab, a new Korean rom-com series, The Leopard, an adaptation of the Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa novel that inspired the classic 1963 from Luchino Visconti, Little Siberia, a Finnish disaster comedy, and Nadaaniyan, a quirky Indian romance.

Documentaries and comedy specials abound this March, with John Mulaney, Chelsea Handler, and Andrew Schulz all premiering new material. Everybody’s Live With John Mulaney isn’t actually a straightforward comedy special, but a novel concept from Netflix – a live talk show in which Mulaney interview celebrity guests, similar to his Everybody’s in L.A. last year. Documentary features and series offer something for everybody, with new titles on the Manson murders, the hunt for Osama bin Laden, and a look at the life of pop star Anitta.
Finally, the family can gather round new episodes of the series CoComelon Lane and Hot Wheels: Let’s Race. There is also a new animated family film from the Spongebob SquarePants universe called Plankton: The Movie.
