Malayalam superstar Mammootty made his Bollywood debut with the 1993 action drama Dhartiputra, marking a unique chapter in his career. While the film did not achieve significant commercial success, it remains noteworthy for featuring a rare Holi song picturized on the legendary actor.
The track Saare Rango Se Ha, composed by the iconic Nadeem-Shravan duo, was a vibrant celebration of Holi, emphasizing themes of renewal and embracing life’s colors. The song, which paired Mammootty with Jaya Prada, stood out for its festive visuals and emotional depth, highlighting the festival’s spirit of leaving behind past struggles.
