Nischay Malhan said that he wants to work as per his wish, which can’t be fulfilled in Bollywood.

Nischay Malhan, famously known as Triggered Insaan, is currently in the news as he got married to his long-time girlfriend, Ruchika Rathore. The popular YouTuber made his mark as one of India’s top content creators, posting reaction videos, roasts and humorous vlogs. Having said that, fans of the YouTuber have often wondered if he will be entering Bollywood. Now, Nischay has sat for an interview where he cleared the air surrounding his acting debut.
During a conversation with Filmygyan, Nishay was asked if he ever wanted to step into the glitz and glamour world of Bollywood. Responding to this, he said, “Will I be in Bollywood? I don’t think so. I’ll be very honest,” he said.
Nischay further elaborated, “Ye jo professional shoots wagera hote hai, maine jitne bhi aajtak kare hai, ye boht tiring hote hai. Hume lagta hai, hume ek movie dekhte hai, hume pasand nhi aati hai, hum bol dete hai. We are very quick to say, “Bekar movie hai, aree ye yaw wo dikkat hai.” And mai bhai, mai to roast videos banata hu, mai to bolta hi hu (These professional shoots and all, whatever I have done till now, are very tiring. I feel we watch a movie; if we don’t like it, we say it clearly. We are very quick to say it’s a bad movie, oh this or that is the problem. And brother, I make roast videos, I do say that).”
The YouTuber added, “But abhi aise shoots wager pe aakar mujhe realise hota hai ke bhai every scene takes so much effort, itni scripting, itni badi badi teams uske piche hoti hai. To thora sa mereko aisa lagta hai ki mera life ka jo goal tha ki apne ghar pe baithkar, apni marzi se jab mereko kaam karna hai, tab videos banana. Wo cheez main nahi kar paunga if I ever go to Bollywood. (But now when I come across such shoots, I realise that, brother, every scene takes so much effort, so much scripting, there are such big teams behind it. So now I feel like the goal of my life was to sit at home and make videos whenever I want to work, as per my wish. And I will not be able to do that if I ever go to Bollywood).”
On the personal front, Nischay is now married to his lady love, Ruchika Rathore. The couple officially tied the knot on June 9 in an intimate yet vibrant ceremony held at ITC Hotels, Tavleen, Chail, nestled in the peaceful hills of Himachal Pradesh. The pictures from their dreamy wedding have already taken over the internet, and fans can’t get enough of this couple’s happy moments.
Their love story dates back to 2018 when they were both in the same college. The madly-in-love couple got engaged in December 2024. Like Nischay, Ruchika is also a content creator who is known for her aesthetic reels and content that resonates with Gen Z and millennials.
