While the forces of evil chase Padma, in a bid to kill her and the prophesied Messiah she is carrying, Ashwatthama and a happy-go-lucky marauder Bhairava (Prabhas make a jaw-dropping entry!) come to her rescue. However, the road ahead is fraught with difficulties as the trio has to team up to vanquish an evil warlock played by Kamal Haasan.
Amitabh and Prabhas are both seen executing high-octane stunts. The trailer also gives a glimpse of Disha Patani battling Prabhas, and Kamal Haasan, in an unrecognizable bald look, heralding the start of a new era towards the end.
Netizens React
Since the trailer was released, the Hindi version has raked in almost 2 million views and more than 259K likes on YouTube. On X, Prabhas fans went berserk and gushed over the ‘Baahubali’ actor’s witty and mighty new avatar. “I watched the trailer in both Hindi and Telugu, and the visuals and attention to detail are stunning. #Prabhas is back with a bang and looks in great shape. The decision to keep #KamalHaasan’s character under wraps is the cherry on the cake. However, the trailer didn’t quite land for me, lacking the impact I was expecting.” wrote an X user.
Another shared a clip of Bhairava in his armour and wrote, “Beast mode!”
Another shared Haasan’s unsetting new look, as an ancient, wizened, creepy-looking old man and marvelled at his transformation.
