It seems the adventures of Finn and Jake will continue, as an Adventure Time movie and more are in the works.
It seems the story of the Land of Oooo isn’t quite over as it was announced that an Adventure Time movie and two spinoffs are in the works. Unfortunately, there are no real details at this time about the movie, though it has been confirmed that Steven Universe’s creator Rebecca Sugar, Over The Garden Wall’s co-creator Patrick McHale, and Adventure Time showrunner Adam Muto will be involved with it.
There is some information available about the two spin-offs though. The first has been titled Heyo BMO and will be aimed at a preschool audience. This series will follow BMO, the sentient tech that accompanied Finn and Jake on many adventures throughout the series.
The other spin-off series is titled Adventure Time: Side Quests and will focus on the younger years of Finn the Human.
There’s no word on when any of these projects will be released, but it’s nice to know they’re in development. What do you think about more Adventure Time being created?
