The family comedy marks a nice contrast to Netflix’s spookier offerings with one horror on the streaming service so terrifying, viewers were unable to finish it.
After one individual posted to TikTok, daring others to watch the film in its entirety, they revealed how they were either unable to do so or scared out of their wits.
They commented: ‘Brilliant film and very creepy, made me smash my vape on my lip in one scene!’.
Another said they ‘actually screamed’ in one particular scene.
One wrote that it was ‘intensely scary’, adding that they had ‘never felt so immersed into a horror movie before’.

The film is inspired by an incident in Taiwan in 2005, which saw a family of six claim that they were possessed by various Chinese folk deities – while accusing each other of being possessed by demons masquerading as deities.
The group burned each other with incense, hit each other with sticks and spirit tablets, as well as splashed faeces and urine on each other in an attempt to get rid of the demons.
Opting to single out the eldest daughter in the family, the others attacked her until she died of her injuries.
The five remaining members of her family were subsequently charged with the offense of ‘abandoning a helpless person resulting in the person’s death’.
The film went on to become the highest grossing Taiwanese horror film of all time- despite a mixed rating on review sites.
On Rotten Tomatoes, it scored 75 per cent on the Tomatometer, with a slightly lower average of 62 per cent for its audience score.
