Renowned Bollywood playback singer Ankit Tiwari, celebrated for hits like ‘Galliyan,’ ‘Sanam Teri Kasam,’ ‘Dil Dard Dard,’ ‘Pyaar De,’ and ‘Tum Bin,’ is set to step into the world of Malayalam cinema with ‘Haal,’ an upcoming multilingual project featuring Shane Nigam in the lead.

Directed by debutant Veera, ‘Haal’ is being touted as one of Shane Nigam’s most ambitious and high-budget ventures to date. The female lead is played by Sakshi Vaidya, and the film also boasts an extensive ensemble cast that includes Johny Antony, Vineeth Beep Kumar, Madhupal, Sangita Madhavan Nair, Joy Mathew, Nishanth Sagar, Niyas Backer, Riyas Narmakala, Suresh Krishna, Raveendran, Sohan Seenulal, Manoj KU, and Sreedhanya.

Produced under the JVJ Productions banner, ‘Haal’ is crafted as a vibrant entertainer with a strong focus on music. The film will be released simultaneously in five languages — Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. The first look, motion poster, and a song from the film were recently unveiled and have already started gaining attention online.

The story and screenplay are written by Nishad Koya, who has previously scripted successful films such as ‘Ordinary,’ ‘Madhura Naranga,’ ‘Thoppil Joppan,’ and ‘Shikkari Shambhu.’ Cinematography is handled by Ravi Chandran, and the music is composed by Nandagopan V.

In addition to Ankit Tiwari’s Malayalam debut, the film will also feature popular Bollywood singer Atif Aslam’s first-ever song in the Malayalam language. Think Music is the official music partner for the project.

Shot over 90 days, ‘Haal’ promises a mix of emotion, music, and drama, and is one of the most anticipated films in Shane Nigam’s upcoming slate.
