Swatantrya Veer Savarkar and Madgaon Express reached nearly Rs 10 crore in box office sales while Shaitaan and Yodha had good runs due to Holi.

New Delhi: With movie franchises like Kung Fu Panda 4 and Dune 2 doing huge numbers at the Box Office, Bollywood Hindi movies have also had a good run this month. Scroll down to read more as we delve into the detailed box office collection of some recent releases!
Shaitaan box office collection
Vikas Bahl’s Shaitaan, starring Ajay Devgn Jyotika, and R Madhavan accumulated approximately Rs 129 crore in box office collection. The film has been on a steady trajectory since its release, however, the movie has managed to boost ticket sales during Holi. Shaitaan box office collection is well on its way to having the biggest third-week sales this year.
Yodha box office collection
Following this, Yodha, starring Siddharth Malhotra and Disha Patani has collected Rs 30 crore on the box office this month. Similar to Shaitaan, Yodha has had a push in sales during Holi. Despite its slow start, the movie has been gaining a slow uptick’ and has a steady pace of viewers.
Madgaon Express box office collection
Kunal Kemmu’s directorial debut, Madgaon Express is slowly inching towards the 10 crore milestone at the box office. The film starring Divyenndu, Pratik Gandhi, and Avinash Tiwary has made 9.88 crore by its fourth day.
Swatantrya Veer Savarkar box office collection
Released on the same day as Madgaon Express, Swatantrya Veer Savarkar’s box office collection stands at Rs 8.2 crore so far. The biopic, directed and starred by Randeep Hooda first made waves on social media for its trailer.
Both the movies Madgaon Express and Swatantrya Veer Savarkar not only benefited from the extended weekend for festivities, but the ‘buy one get one’ ticket offers in place for Friday and Saturday, might have helped boost overall sales. The films, however, might face competition after the release of Rajesh Krishnan’s Crew starring Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kriti Sanon on March 29.
