Over the past two years, Lingusamy has taken a break from filmmaking but has been preparing to announce his next project. According to social media buzz, Lingusamy has started working on the script for his next directorial venture, which is reportedly based on the Ramayana.

Lingusamy has assembled a team of young and experienced writers to develop the script. The team has been working from Kodaikanal, focusing on creating a two-part film. The cast and crew will be finalized once the script is complete.
