After hitting theatres on April 11, 2024, this movie continues to draw audiences across Kerala and South India. Now, it’s gearing up for its OTT debut this month. Directed by Jithu Madhavan, this Malayalam action comedy stars Fahadh Faasil, Hipzster, Mithun Jai Shankar, Roshan Shanavas, Midhutty, Sajin Gopu, and Mansoor Ali Khan. The story follows three teens who come to Bangalore for college and get entangled in a brawl. To get over the trouble, they seek help from a local gangster. This movie is filled with tension, humour, and unexpected turns, making it one of my favourites.

5. Rathnam – Amazon Prime Video, May 2024

Directed by Hari, the story revolves around Rathnam, who grew up under the care of Panneerselvam after he saved his life as a boy. Rathnam becomes Panneerselvam’s (an MLA) loyal right-hand man. Rathnam and his crew protect the oppressed and fight for justice in Vellore. Things take an interesting turn when Rathnam saves Mallika, a medical student who resembles his late mother. Mallika and her family face troubles caused by Lingam, a powerful figure who has taken over their property to build a college. Rathnam, seeing his mother in Mallika, vows to protect her. The film stars Vishal, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Ramachandra Raju, Samuthirakani, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Yogi Babu, and Murali Sharma.
