Arjun Kapoor was once in a relationship with Sonakshi Sinha. Rumour had it that they had chemistry during the filming of ‘Tevar’, but their relationship reportedly ended shortly after the movie was completed. The actor had spoken about why he and the actress’ relationship didn’t work out.

In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Arjun was asked about his relationship with Sonakshi. He explained that some relationships endure while others fade once a project ends, leading people to go their separate ways. Arjun expressed that he still has a lot of respect for Sonakshi and clarified that they always make an effort to greet each other at events as friends, without any pressure to maintain their relationship beyond a certain point.



A report in DNA suggested that a fundamental difference in their personalities was the primary reason for their breakup. A source indicated that Sonakshi is very expressive with her emotions and doesn’t hide her feelings for those she cares about, whereas Arjun is more reserved and struggled to cope with her intense emotions.

Another source mentioned that Sonakshi, like many people, wanted to spend a lot of time with Arjun, which made him feel somewhat suffocated by the constant closeness and frequent calls. He felt the relationship was progressing too quickly. The source added that it’s unfair to blame either of them for the split.
