Healer star Ji Chang-wook and Crash Landing on You actress Son Ye-jin are likely to share the screen together in an upcoming Korean-drama. As per Korean media outlets, the actors are supposed to star as leads in the drama tentatively titled Scandal.
It is said to be a remake of the 2003 South Korean film Untold Scandal which starred Bae Yoong Joon, Jeon Do Yeon and Lee Mi Sook among others.
Jung Ji Woo will turn director for the series. Responding to these reports, Son Ye-Jin’s agency said that the actress received a casting offer for an OTT series, and she is currently reviewing the offer.
Son Ye-jin is a popular face in K-dramas and films and is best known for her works in Crash Landing On You, Something in the Rain, The Classic, My Wife Got Married and A Moment to Remember. She was last seen in the K-drama Thirty-Nine. She also has a thriller film, No Other Choice, in the pipeline.
Ji Chang-wook , on the other hand, was last seen in the 2024 film Revolver and the K-drama Welcome to Samdal-ri.
