Close on the heels of her Bollywood film ‘Sikandar’, noted actress Kajal Aggarwal has commenced shooting for her next Hindi film ‘The India Story’ and she is sharing screen space with Shreyas Talpade. “She is doing Hindi films back to back as she has got some meaty roles,” says the source and adds, “In both Hindi films, she is doing performance-oriented roles which would test her histrionic skills and she is game for it,” he adds.

She is known for stellar performances in Hindi films like ‘Singham’ and ‘Special 26’ in the past. “She worked hard for the Salman film and their onscreen chemistry has worked out well,” the source adds. The actress, who has been selective about Bollywood projects, is now getting more offers. “Few Bollywood projects are under discussion and she will take a call soon” he adds.

Meanwhile, in Tollywood, she is playing Goddess Parvati in the much-hyped ‘Kannappa’ and her look was unveiled recently. “She is truly excited about donning a divine role after doing bubbly and lover girl roles in Tollywood,” he points out. ‘She wants to strike a balance between Telugu and Hindi movies and intends to do author-backed and new kind of roles to expand her fan base,” he concludes.
