Veteran actress Kunickaa Sadanand has opened up on Akshay Kumar’s Bollywood affairs. In a recent interview, Kunickaa talked about Akshay’s fitness and explained why women were attracted towards him. She called him one of the fittest Bollywood stars and praised him for being handsome even today.
“He (Akshay Kumar) used to be so handsome and fit. He still is. He is one year younger than me. They work hard. Akshay was one of the fittest guys in the industry,” Kunickaa told Siddharth Kannan. She further mentioned that when one’s testosterone levels are active, you get fitness.
Kunickaa has worked with Akshay in several movies including the 1992 hit, Khiladi.
Meanwhile, in the same interview, Kunickaa claimed that back in the 90s, women from “respectable” families used to hesitate taking up acting as a profession. She explained that it was because even the lighting technicians used to make inappropriate advances towards actresses.
Sharing a personal anecdote, Kunickaa revealed how her hair dresser would often stay with her in her room. “After shooting, it was like the ‘hungry lions’ would come out, roaming around outside. While some people maintained their dignity and called to ask for me in the evening, others were more aggressive,” she said.
Kunickaa Sadanand has worked extensively in the Indian film and television industry. She has appeared in a range of films, including “Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii” and “Astitva…Ek Prem Kahani”. On television, Kunickaa has been part of popular shows like “Zindagi Ki Mehak”, “Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha”, and “Kumkum Bhagya”.
