The film has been doing well all over and with the kind of subject that it has in hand, the reach is seeping into the interiors as well. This is something that really helps any film when it goes beyond the multiplex market as well and that’s exactly what’s going in its favour. In fact, the word of mouth has just started spreading around the film which means one cannot say where will the film eventually land up. It has already collected Rs. 11.61 crores at the box office and rest assured, Rs. 20 crores mark would be comfortably surpassed by the close of weekend.
Meanwhile, Mr. and Mrs. Mahi has seen good growth as well on Saturday. The sun was cover a good distance and aim to go past the Rs. 2 crores mark on Saturday. However, with the kind of wave that Munjya is bringing with it, all other films in the running were being impacted. Still, after collecting Rs. 1.31 crore on Friday, the Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor starrer did collect Rs. 2.22 crores more on Saturday and that has brought its total to Rs. 28.42 crores. By the close of this weekend, the film should end up crossing 30 crores milestone quite easily and aim for Rs. 31 crores.
