Taapsee Pannu recently tied the knot with longtime boyfriend Mathias Boe in an intimate ceremony. For her wedding, the Dunki actress ditched the lehenga and opted for a red salwar suit instead. Now, she has opened up about choosing her wedding ensemble.

In an interview with a leading news portal, Taapsee Pannu revealed that her college friend, Mani Bhatia, designed her wedding ensemble. The actress shared that growing up she experienced Sikh weddings in Gurudwaras where the brides wear red salwar suits with kinari on dupatta borders.

She shared that she couldn’t imagine herself in a pastel lehenga. She further revealed that she did not want a major designer to make her wedding ensemble since it would be difficult to keep it under wraps.

Taapsee also said that she wanted to dance at all her wedding functions. That’s why she didn’t opt for lehengas for any of the festivities.
