This summer is about to get a whole lot funnier, offering the ultimate family entertainment experience for both parents and kids.
Varun Sharma’s comedic timing and personality are a perfect match for Garfield’s legendary sass. This pairing is sure to be a highlight of the film. To further fuel the excitement, Sony Pictures Entertainment India has announced an earlier release date for India, giving audiences here the chance to catch the movie before anywhere else in the world.
This time around, Garfield, the world’s most famous cat with a serious aversion to Mondays and a bottomless pit for a stomach when it comes to lasagna, is about to embark on a wild adventure that takes him outside his comfort zone! An unexpected reunion with his long-lost father, the scruffy street cat Vic, throws Garfield’s pampered life into disarray. Dragged along for the ride is his canine companion Odie. Together, the unlikely trio find themselves entangled in Vic’s hilarious and high-stakes heist.
Garfield has been voiced by Chris Pratt and Vic has been voiced by the sensational Samuel L. Jackson. Directed by Mark Dindal, the film also features Hannah Waddingham, Ving Rhames, Nicholas Hoult, Cecily Strong, Harvey Guillén, Brett Goldstein and Bowen Yang.
Sony Pictures Entertainment India will release The Garfield Movie in Indian cinemas on 17th May 2024 in English and Hindi.
