MUMBAI (ANI)- Writer Shobhit Sinha has signed three new Bollywood films following the strong box office performance of “Housefull 5.” The film, for which Sinha was a writer, grossed close to ₹200 crore within six days of its release.
This commercial success has led to new opportunities for Sinha. He is set to reunite with director Farhad Samji, who provided his initial break with “Housefull 5,” for an upcoming horror-comedy. For this project, Sinha will handle the story, screenplay, and dialogues.
Sinha’s career builds on extensive television experience. He has written over 2,500 scripts for more than 35 comedy shows, including “Comedy Circus,” “Comedy Nights Bachao,” and various “Bigg Boss” specials, establishing a consistent presence in Indian entertainment.
Beyond writing, Sinha founded Syaahityik Productions, a Bollywood writers’ company aimed at supporting new storytellers. He also hosts “The Shobhit Sinha Show,” a podcast offering insights into his writing process and industry experiences, which has gained a following among aspiring writers and film enthusiasts.
With new projects in development, a production company, and a growing public platform, Shobhit Sinha’s influence in Indian entertainment is broadening beyond his direct writing roles.
