“This is the best time I’ve ever had – and it’s ’cause of you.” Another 2025 holiday movie entry. Brainstorm Media has unveiled an official trailer for the movie Tinsel Town, a new Christmas-time comedy starring Kiefer Sutherland who gets mixed in a small town in England during the holidays. Made by director Chris Foggin, arriving to watch later in November for anyone who might be interested. A washed-up Hollywood action star leaves the US and ends up taking a surprise role in a small English village’s Christmas pageant production of Cinderella. With the help of the straight-talking choreographer and quirky cast in the town, he embraces the holiday spirit while reconnecting with his young daughter. The feel-good movie stars Kiefer Sutherland as “Bradley Mack”, Rebel Wilson, Derek Jacobi, Mawaan Rizwan, Maria Friedman, Jason Manford, Asim Chaudhry, Danny Dyer, Ray Fearon, and Lucien Laviscount. This looks like it has at least a few funny scenes. But it also just reminds me how much better The Holiday is in every way.

Kiefer Sutherland stars as a Hollywood action star with a bloated ego, who is blindsided when his iconic action franchise is abruptly cancelled. With his career in freefall, he heads to England, hoping to land a role on the West End, but instead finds himself playing a role in small English village’s Christmas pageant. With the help of the outspoken choreographer & quirky cast, he embraces the holiday spirit to reconnect with his estranged daughter. Tinsel Town is directed by British filmmaker Chris Foggin, director of the films Kids in Love, Fisherman’s Friends, This Is Christmas, and the two Bank of Dave movies previously. The screenplay is written by Frazer Flintham, Adam Brown, Piers Ashworth, and Jake Brunger. Produced by Matt Williams, Pascal Degove, Ava Aashna Chopra.
