Look, but definitely do not touch.
Anya Taylor-Joy rocked a dramatic transparent gold dress covered in giant spikes at the Furiosa premiere in Sydney, Australia, on Thursday.
The 28-year-old star took to the red carpet in a gold and silver minidress and headpiece with arrow-like spikes — similar to the gold, metallic color scheme that’s been used to promote her upcoming Mad Max prequel.
According to People magazine, the dress is from Ryan Hastings and Paco Rabanne’s spring/summer 1996 collection.
Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga is director George Miller’s prequel to his acclaimed 2015 hit film Max Max: Fury Road.
In the movie, Taylor-Joy stars as Furiosa, taking over the character played by Charlize Theron in Fury Road. The prequel follows the young Furiosa after she is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus, who goes to war with Fury Road tyrant Immortan Joe. While the two battle for dominance, Furiosa must survive and piece together the means to find her way home. Chris Hemsworth and Tom Burke co-star.
Warner Bros. is releasing Furiosa in the U.S. on May 24.
