Delaware native Aubrey Plaza, known for “White Lotus” and “Agatha All Along,” will team up with MCU heavyweights in some upcoming films, including one with Chris Evans in the dark comedy “Honey Don’t!”

The Ethan Coen-directed film is set to hit theaters late this summer. But that’s just one of the new movies on the horizon for the Emmy-nominated star.

Here’s a closer look at “Honey Don’t,” and other projects Plaza has lined up, which include “Deadpool” star Ryan Reynolds and “Aquaman” lead Jason Momoa, plus more.

IMDB describes “Honey Don’t!” as a dark comedy following Honey O’Donahue (Margaret Qualley), a small-town private investigator, who’s working to solve a string of strange deaths tied to a mysterious church. The film stars Chris Evans (Reverend Drew), Aubrey Plaza (MG) and Charlie Day.

According to Variety, Qualley “worked with Coen and Cooke on ‘Drive-Away Dolls,’ the first of their lesbian B-movie trilogy that ‘Honey Don’t’ continues.

The film marks a sharp contrast from Evans’ famous boy-scout role as the beloved MCU superhero Captain America.

The trailer for “Honey Don’t!” teases a tangled web of mystery and deception. It opens with Aubrey Plaza, dressed as a police officer, discreetly handing Honey O’Donahue an address, setting her on a path of investigation.

Honey arrives at a crime scene where Reverend Drew greets her near an overturned car with a dead woman inside. She removes a ring from the woman’s hand, noticing it bears the same cross-shaped symbol as the Reverend’s church, Four-Way Temple.

In another scene, the Reverend delivers a sermon in a white robe, standing in front of two large portraits of himself, one in sunglasses. He’s later seen having a threesome in the church’s sacristy. The sex act is interrupted by a gunman, who bursts through the door and blindly fires several shots at the bed.

Honey’s investigation takes her to what appears to be the dead woman’s home, where she discovers a white church robe and bondage-looking lingerie. The Rev questions Honey’s interest in what he says is merely a “traffic fatality,” before an attempt to charm her over drinks.

As tensions rise, the Rev shoots someone off-camera. Honey asks Plaza to help her on the case, and she joins in.

Honey is seen having a violent battle with dudes, while Plaza appears to be hitting someone with a weapon off camera. This sets the stage for a twisted, dark comedy with the Queen of Deadpan.
