The relationship between hot rodders and car movies has always been a special one, but it has sometimes been hard to tell who is influencing who. I’ve often thought that movies are inspired by cars, but that the movies also inspire new people to get into cars. If you think back to movies like the Fast and Furious franchise, there are tons of young people who have gotten into the car scene after seeing those movies. And other car movies inspire people to want to build specific cars or trucks, or to try out different kinds of racing.

Hell, there have been lots of actors and actresses that have been inspired by the car movies they have starred in, and who have then become enthusiasts themselves. It’s pretty cool stuff for sure and we dig it. Check out the list that Jason and Marcel have put together and see what you think.
